Today, I have just a few everyday windows (and doors) from my daughter’s and family’s town in Catalonia. Plus windows-within-a-window as my featured photo. You can tell from the colour of the sky that these were not taken last week, during Heat Wave Central. Nobody in their right mind was walking round then, as daily ‘feels like’ temperatures regularly hit 42 degrees

For Ludwig’s Monday Window, hosted this week by Brian of Bushboy fame.

Delightful windows and doors.

They’re very nice traditional examples, aren’t they?

Margaret, love the windows and door. NO in that heat you want to stay in a cooler place. This summer we did not have no heat waves but a normal Nordic summer and so many cloudy days.

Somehow, these days, grey and cloud seem soft and inviting.

Your featured shot is very arresting. I hope the temperatures have slipped below 40 by now.

I gather they have. Just a little. Poor things, it’s been unremitting day and night..

Great opener Margaret, my favourite. I am a sucker for the geranium window boxes too. The window surround have great shapes too.
Thanks for joining in Monday Window 😀

Thank you 🙂 We’re just back from a lovely walk in Hackfall Woods, which will no doubt feature as a Monday Walk one of these days!

Hackfall. So silly of me not to recommend it to you. I love that place. Bluebell time and Autumn especially. I learnt recently that in about the early 1930s, the wood was cut down for fuel. What you see now has all grown up since then. Incredible, isn’t it?

I know both of those, but not well. I may die before this happens, Margaret. Not wishing to be a drama queen. Laughing xx

Nice Header. I used to think the Spanish style with window grills was a bit severe and forbidding but there’s a style and a reason for everything xx

Indeed. I agree, but they seem to have ways of making the less forbidding, as the pot plants show xx

That reflection one is very clever. And I love the floral decorated balcony.
