‘Now what is she doing, silly woman, using that blurry photo of Castle Howard? Couldn’t she find something better? ‘
It’s not that blurry actually. Try it from another perspective.

That’s a neat trick 🙂 🙂 Another place I love. Are they open at the moment, Margaret?

They’ve very recently re-opened the gardens, but the house remains closed. That seems to be the usual story with stately homes here this year.

Fair enough! I’d be happy with the gardens 🙂 🙂

It only occurred to me as I was squaring the photo, and deciding how to use it. A bit of fun anyway.

My wife used to rent an Estate cottage in Terrington, many happy memories of walking around the grounds and gardens. A lovely part of Yorkshire.

It is indeed lovely, and quite different from our – equally lovely – Dales scenery. So lucky to have such variety on call!

LOL. I thought…’why is the reflection less blurry than the actual castle?” You are sneaky.

Haha. 🙃 Beautifully done. I loved that the reflection was clearer…as if there was a mist set upon the landscape and only the water could show you what was above.

Yes, it’s really quite odd the effect that turning a picture upside down has, isn’t it?

Nicely done. Somehow makes it look like a film set or background for an animated movie.
