Beautiful. Our hawthorn blossom is out and the rhododendrons are almost there, whilst the apple and cherry blossom are beginning to fade, love this time of year. ☺️

I know, I can’t bear the cold and it seems to last longer every winter now… I keep putting away my woolly jumpers and getting them out again!

I was thinking the same thought about our crabapple blossom today – it has such a strong rose scent.

Beautiful blossoms…Your post has reminded me that I must go looking for naturalized lilac. Lucky you!

Oh! I’ve never seen lilac in the wild. Not surprising really. I’ve just Googled it and see it originates in the Balkans.

It was popular around old farmhouses and in many places where the farmhouse has gone, the lilacs remain – part of the wild once again.

It is indeed. The blossoms tell us that it’s here, but the weather is by no means consistent though.
