… you see a van packing up the elements in a Town Treasure Trail for the amusement of all those children drummed into summer shopping expeditions for new uniforms, pencil cases and serviceable rucksacks. In this case, it’s Harrogate’s now annual Lego Trail, this year featuring Dinky Dinosaurs. Whatever next for these rather charming little monsters?

For Leanne’s Monochrome Madness.
I love these slice of life pictures. So many people have stopped taking them or never post them so it’s great to see these. Happy travels to the dinosaurs!

Happy travels indeed! I hope they’re off somewhere else, as they’re quite good fun. And thank you for that positive comment.

A Lego trail’s such a good idea. I hope they’re not about to be deconstructed.

The photo including the man actully shows him wrapping a figure carefully in black plastic, so I’m hoping not.

Looks like the dinosaurs are facing another extinction. They are quite clever.

They are. But I hope they’re popping off to entertain other kids, big and little, elsewhere.

I bet the kids all had fun with those – and some adults too!

I could not decide if charming little monsters referred to the dinosaurs or the school children 😉.

Great captures of these tremendous legos. A lot of work went into building them. Hope they will be enjoyed elsewhere. 🙂

I hope so too. Lots of Very Big Kids got to make them, I suspect!

Lego has come a long way since I received a box of the bricks and found you couldn’t really make much with them

Lego formed no part of my childhood (am I too old? I genuinely don’t know) but by the time my own children came along, there were more than mere bricks to build with. So I was happy enough then.
