This week’s Monochrome Madness, hosted by Dawn features horizons. I decided this gave me the chance to whip us back to Sweden, which offers horizons in every glance. Mainly watery horizons, it’s true. Or are they cloudscapes? Whatever they are, they offered me, whether urban or when island hopping utter peace and contentment.

My featured photo was taken on one of our many ferry journeys, where we saw – unlimited horizons.
Lovely long views. I particularly like the shot of Kalmar in the distance.

Yes, that was my favourite too. I think you said you haven’t been there? Recommended!

Noted. We do have a possible Scandi tour on our wish list which would end up on the Norwegian post boat.

It’ll probably remain a dream: it’s both a lengthy trip and a pricey one. We’ll see.

A little of both, I’d say, and well done.

You’ve definitely returned to action, Margaret. That first one is a sparkler!
Is it today you meet Sarah (or yesterday)? Say hello, if so. I travel back this evening xx

Thanks Jo. The Sarah-meeting took place on Sunday, and they’re safely back in London now. And you’re on your way home already??
