A Photo-Diary of a Journey through France and Spain

From dawn to dusk in France, then below-freezing dawn in France to sunny noon in Catalonia.

All taken from a moving car, so no prize-winning shots here. The featured photo is of the Pic du Canigou, the Pyrennean mountain which divides France from Spain.

  1. Well, to me the third photo, the road with the bare trees on the right and the approaching Volkswagen, looks like a prize-winner. Personally, I would do a bit of a crop, chopping off some at the right and top to ballance out the composition. But even as is, it is suitable for a gallery wall. I think it might even find a buyer who would love to have that photo on their wall.

  2. That looks beautiful. I’m feeling so ready for a road trip somewhere, anywhere! But not likely to be in Spain or France! Trapped here in the US, trying not to watch the news, trying not to see the news online. Feeling unsure if we can survive 3 more years. Maybe I’ll take a road trip to unwind some stress.
