Odds & ends that didn’t get their 5 minutes of fame … until now
Becky’s Square Odds challenge has had us all producing all kinds of odds and ends to display in the blogosphere. Today is the last day, so I’m giving a chance to all those photos I thought I might use .. and didn’t.
A scarecrow supermarket delivery man in Time of LockdownRedundant tyres in the countryside?Spotted on a private school’s minibus. What?Anyone you want to keep out from here?A wibbly wobbly reflection on an AirstreamKids’ playgroundSomeone’s lost shoes in SpainA hedgerow clock. Right twice daily.
Thanks Becky. I’ve had fun finding (square)oddities, and enjoying contributions from bloggers in every continent. Till the next time!
I'm retired and living in North Yorkshire, where I walk as often as I can, write, volunteer, and travel as often as I can.

There are some very odd things to be found in Yorkshire hedges it seems. I’ve enjoyed this month of oddities, Margaret, thank you. What will be coming in March I wonder? (Other than a great deal of rain…)
Me??? How did you guess? We made a near fatal error yesterday. A beautiful hill walk up above the Guadiana, but when we started to look for lunch everywhere was packed or closed! We had overlooked the fact that it was a holiday weekend and it felt like half of Spain had crossed the border to one of our favourite restaurants. We did, eventually, get seated and I had the most divine ‘figgy pudding’. Happy Pancake Day, Margaret! I need to buy some milk.
I will miss the oddities.

You’ve definitely got an eye for oddities. I suspect this won’t be the end. Thanks for the daily smile ☺ this month Margaret.

Well Jude, I suspect it takes an oddity to find an oddity, so I coped 😉

An interesting final blast of oddities. Some amusing and some beautiful. I really love the Airstream wibbly wobblies.

I love these, Margaret. What kind of vermin could they mean? Rodents, birds etc. would have no trouble getting over and under that door.

Exactly. Mice apparently can get through a pencil-sized hole. I wonder if it’s human vermin they need to discourage?

I’ve really enjoyed your odds and just wish I’d found the time to contribute more myself – but I’m still playing catch-up after my holiday!

Holidays beat blogging any day. Although reliving your holiday through your blogs may come a close second!

That kid’s playground looks to be specially constructed for them. If so, well done to the owners.

Ho ho! You’ve had a late start today as far as reading posts goes. I hope that means you’ve had a good busy day. Walking perhaps?

They are quite fun. Five minutes of fame is justified, I think.
