Spotted on a front door in London, not too far from my son’s house. Could this creature possibly be the tooth fairy I talked about yesterday?

You found her! And such a beauty!

I know! She doesn’t look strong enough to lug all those teeth around.

very wise words, fairies are so mischievous and can be dangerous if crossed!

Definitely. Still haven’t seen any in Lewisham though.

ah but we are adults now, and didn’t Peter Pan say we can’t see them after a certain age?!

That she’s a beauty of a fairy? Yes

She does look quite fearsome.

Oh! I didn’t see her as terrifying.

Not terrifying, just not cute and sweet. A strong fairy.

Ha ha! A great find. Certainly not a door welcome that I’ve seen before.

Quite so. I wouldn’t knock if I were a stranger to them.

You may be on to something here. But the tooth fairy IS REAL.

I particularly like the way she’s used 18 teeth to build her sign!

Somewhat elitist. What about the pixies, sprites and pucks?

They don’t live there. That’s all.

She does look like trouble. I actually like the idea of London based fairies meddling in everyones business depending on their mood. There’s a Netflix show in that.

Definitely. Are you offering? 😉

I love it! I’d get one for our front door but some how I don’t see my husband agreeing to that 😅

Whether it’s a tooth fairy or not – it’s good advice!

I wonder if there is a story behind this or if it’s just a random sign, the inhabitants came across? In any case it seems like sound advice to me!

LOL, a little crude and a weird place to put it. They ought to paint fairies on the floor of the men’s bathroom and put that sign on the door of the toilet! 🙂

Now there’s a good idea.

This is an area where nearly all the housing (mainly terraced) was built in the very late 19th/ early 20th century.
