Have a happy – and healthy – Christmas!
Let’s hope that, with vaccines developed, next year will end more positively than this.
This photo shows the view from our study window in Yorkshire, in a year when we had snow in England – 2018.
Yesterday, the last day of our ten day tour, I took you to the Pyrenees: to the slopes near Montferrier in the Ariège – you can read all about it here – and to Scaramus, where I had my first experience of snow-shoeing.
Happy Christmas to you too and may 2021 be a better year than 2020.

Although the glow of Christmas this year may not shine. If a virus has also thrown its dark coat over us I wish you ,

I love that photo, I was looking at my pics of 2018 this morning reflecting back on that snow. We just have the river threatening to flood this year…. onwards and upwards. Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas although your family are not physically near this year. xx

Oh good luck. Flooding is the last thing you need. Let’s hope for a happy Christmas instead.

No snow here I hope! There are too many tender plants which don’t take kindly to the extreme cold weather. But I must admit it is nice to see a freshly fallen snow scene.
Thank you for taking me travelling this year and for being such a wonderful participant in my weekly challenge. I have enjoyed your positivity and humour and look forward to seeing where next year takes us.

Aw thanks Jude. I consider you a real blogging pal, even though I’d never recognise you in the street. We had snow this morning …. for ten minutes. But eeh bah gum it’s cold out there.

We do have a great view. Sadly, we won’t be with family tomorrow, but at least we have the two of us, as you do. Enjoy!

And happy Christmas to all of you. We had laying snow a couple of weeks ago but no sign of a white Christmas. We’ve been tier 4 for over a week and have started the very odd festivities, without children or grandchildren, with a glorious walk by the sea, in if for the dog who loves a paddle. Roll on 2021 xx

Picture perfect – it reminds of one of those animated Christmas card where first a dog runs across the snow and then a knot of Carol singers gather outside the window singing heartily.
I hope you had a warm and cosy Christmas Day and sending very best wishes to you and to Malcom.
