    1. Indeed. I always find it hard to imagine some Spanish gentleman mounted on his steed trotting – sometimes up a few steps – to enter the building.

    1. Yes, it was just a side door, but to tell you the truth, I can’t remember the main door. Hobbit door? Love it! And that was Malcolm’s stretches done for the day.

  1. Ohh, I’m glad I found this post! Gorgeous doors! I see that you link to Norm’s Thursday Doors but the link doesn’t display in the comments there since you link to his blog in general and not to the specific post, the last one. (Also, I’m about to link to your I Spy Book Challenge post that I liked earlier. I realise it’s been a while and that you didn’t start this challenge, but I found yours first by following Judith, no doubt, and have it saved for a year. And still haven’t done my post! But I will!)

    1. Oh, that’s fascinating, and thanks for the hint. When I follow other people’s Thursday Doors posts, they have seemed to link to his original post, and this puzzled me. All is clear. I’m looking forward to a quiet moment to browse some of your posts too.
