A month in England: a souvenir

Well, a month in Yorkshire really. It must have been one of the best Mays on record: blossom, flowers, lush greenness everywhere.  Here are some pictures to convince anyone who doesn’t yet know, that Yorkshire really is ‘God’s own county’.

I'm retired and living in North Yorkshire, where I walk as often as I can, write, volunteer, and travel as often as I can.

  1. Well, god may have had a hand in Yorkshire, but I reckon the goddess is a prime mover here in Ariege …. 🙂

  2. are you both still in Yorkshire? Would be nice to have a catch up…do you have a contact email/phone/mobile at all? Lovely to see Harrogate – I remember bringing you and Malcolm a fruit cake from Betty’s when I came to visit a few years ago. Hope you are both keeping well. Feel free to use my place as a half-way stop over on the way to the ferry if it suits you!

    1. No, sorry, we’re back in France And it was such a busy and quite stressful time that we only were able to catch up with people on the doorstep as it were. And lovely as it would be to see you, it won’t be on the way to the ferry, as we always travel from Dover. How’s life these days?
