After last week’s Dirty Windows in Distress, I thought it only right to show some clean ones. Or some soon-to-be-clean ones.

There we are. Four fine fellows, following Health and Safety and enjoying a good day’s work cleaning all this glass..

Oh hang on. They’re a bit further from the ground than seems entirely comfortable.

Now that’s just … terrifying. I hope they lived to work another day.
Spotted in Warsaw, years ago.

You couldn’t pay me enough to do this …

This brings back a horrible memory for me of coming face to face with a window cleaner. I was working on the 17th floor of an office block, and I hate heights. Still gives me chills

That would give me a very bad day too.

Isn’t there a song? When I’m… xx

Haha Jo. We’re almost old enough to have heard that one first time round. Maybe 🤣xx

I hate heights so this isn’t a job for me

Aaaargh indeed….I do not like heights, so definitely not for me

We bloggers are definitely not going to step up to the plate, judging by the comments!

That seems indisputable!

What an amazing job. Imagine what you could have seen? It’s much safe than in years gone by.
Fabulous windows Margaret
Thanks for joining in Monday Window 😀

Well, thanks for inspiring me to do so! Yes, safer maybe. But has to be. No skyscrapers, once upon a time not so very long ago.

I am alway of awe this people who was these high-rise buildings. Also of those who fix the cell towers, they are So high these days. Great photos, wish I had taken them 😁

It was one of those whip-out-the-phone moments. Thank you Ritva.

I see Jo got in first with a comment about the song 😆 I’m normally OK with heights but like most of your other commentators I wouldn’t fancy this job!

Luckily, job-hunting is no longer on our things-to-do-list.

I’m with everyone else. Any job that involves dangling is not for me! I bet they see it all though…

Not a job I’d be qualified to do–or wanting to do!

I love capturing the window cleaners, like you, not sure I could do the job, though the views would be amazing.

The view outside, or the happenings within??😉

I mainly get to Frankfurt (really the only decent place to have highrise buildings around here) on weekends. Maybe I should go during the week and try to catch window cleaners at work (they must have them!). Your shots are great!

Thanks Elke. But I worry about your wish to stalk window cleaners at work …😉

I would rather photograph mountain climbers but there aren’t that many mountains around here…
