No, they are so twee! It’s always funny when I spot them here because they seem so out of place, but they do sometimes turn up, sitting on a balcony or whatever! xx

Gnome was the wordle word a few days ago! I have been walking around London, Wales, Paris and now Amsterdam and yesterday, I FINALLY took my first bench photo, no gnomes though. What have I been thinking? I know folks who are wild about gnomes, I am with you. Five minutes is plenty.

Garden gnomes make me think of the film Amelie and the pictures his gnome’s ‘travels’ she arranges to be sent to her father.

I once on my travels around Australia I came across 100’s of them all congregating together at a crossroads. Real gnome overload.

A good way to kill two birds with one stone. I don’t get gnomes either, and these ones don’t even look particularly well made. A bit rough!

Quite a utilitarian bench I’d say, but at least this week it IS a BENCH! And whilst I am gno gnome lover I think perhaps the birds or butterflies might appreciate the little chap’s water carriers.

How cute. We once “inherited” a gnome when buying a house. We only found it when cutting down a huge bush. The previous owners had long gone, so we decided he’d be ours from now on. He is now in our new garden.
