Geometry in the Gorge de Quillan

We’ve started our journey home. It’s not all bad, because we’re visiting two sets of friends, having a mini-break, and yesterday we drove through a favourite haunt from our days in France: the Gorge du Quillan. It’s characterised by steep and narrow cliff sides, and geometrical peaks reminiscent of fearsome dragon’s teeth. Awful photo – sorry. Moving car, and a phone having a sulk and go-slow. Posting from said phone isn’t helping…

  1. Taking photographs from a car on the road, actually I make too. This should be a special category for photography, taking pictures from a car.. Sometimes really it’s been interesting photographs. So dear Margaret, I loved it. Geometry in a going car… The road seems interesting with its nature view… I hope you take more. Have a nice and safe travel. Thank you, Love, nia

  2. Travel safely. You’re missing out (I hope) on some very blustery conditions here. It’s amazing you can post any picture from ‘out in the wilds’. It doesn’t seem that long ago that I had to hang my phone halfway out of a window in Wolverhampton to get any signal at all.

  3. Looks like one of those places where if you don’t take the photograph from the car, you just don’t get a chance to take it at all. There’s a few of those here in Wales too.
