  1. I rather like the archway 🤗💗. Hurtling towards Leeds after a lovely visit with Lisa. Excellent Polish food in Nottingham last night. Are you on the home leg 🦵 😳 🩷

  2. Great spot with the tiny ‘garage’ and I love these captures of what seems to be an ageless village. The old signs, the wooden shutters, the green arch. That little car seems to be the only new thing in the place!

  3. Gorgeous photos, Margaret. My elder daughter used to put toys and treasures in little nooks and crannies; I remember the pleasure I got in discovering them. It wasn’t so good when she hid things that didn’t belong to her ( her grandparents’ remote controls for example ). 😀

  4. We’ve got a on-man band garage at the bottom of our road with battered wooden doors and car signs, but somehow it doesn’t look as quaint and charming as this. However, the chap who runs it is very pleasant, charges half the price of Halfords and makes an effort to brighten up his premises by putting three old-fashioned children’s peddle cars outside when he’s open for business. Sadly, though Ipswich is no Hérault.
