It was only my phone. But on a dreadful day, it worked well. Thanks.

And more to come I think. Still, we need it.

Very atmospheric. We seem to be having more mist than I remember and thicker too.

So many rivers here (3 + a canal) mean it’s often misty.

I’ve seen it like that many times. Still beautiful, no matter what the weather is!

Absolutely. Better, in some ways. We have the place to ourselves!

Very good photo for a phone Margaret 🙂

Your phone did a good job of catching that misty riverine valley, Margaret.

Yes, not bad for a bargain basement phone.

That’s a great photo! I’ve been to Fountains Abbey a few times, but always on a warm, sunny day so have never seen it look like that.

It’s because I volunteer there that I see it in all weathers. I love it whatever the weather.

It looks as good in the rain as it does in better weather – very atmospheric, well captured!

I was there doing my volunteering bit. I never mind if the weather’s bad, as it has different attractiveness.

Yes I’m sure – and your reward for volunteering is that you get to see it in all weathers and in every mood 🙂

Still lovely! I’ve seen it like this. Here the forecast was rain, rain, more rain. At 4 o’clock we finally had a shower. Why must the forecasters get so hyper? Have we got mixed up with the British ones?

Probably. They get it wrong here too though.

Suitably dressed, I enjoy a bad weather day at Fountains Abbey. It still looks good, and I have it nearly all to myself.

Ah the rain softens the feel of the whole image, very beautiful. I hope it wasn’t flooded this time.

Not at all. It was a thoroughly wet day, and I loved it.

Such at atmospheric photo… I can imagine it could flood easily with to much rain.
