The last photo I took in September was of a disabled dragon. This dragon’s glory days are all in the past. No longer can he roar, belching fearsome flames from his mighty maw. He’s a Covid-era dragon, sensibly equipped with a face mask. Scary dragons are so last millennium.

This photo is a square for Past Squares …

and for Brian of Bushboy’s World Last on the Card.

LoL!! oh this is a superb last past

This century has its own kind of dragons.

I see him as a kindly, other worldly dragon – being respectful to our human situation, whilst having the ability himself to fly off, if he so chose, to clearer airs. But he chooses to stay and look over his human friends… 🙂

Poor dragon! I have spotted similar dragons, lions, and other creatures masked up around my neighborhood and town. If only they could contain this virus and the derision between us – oh my that would be fearsome force. It seems that we are limited by our own inability to master ourselves. I am upbeat that reason and science will prevail. Stay well, safe, and upbeat. Peace.

Tee Hee 🤣💕 Masks are a thing of the past in the UK now?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Certainly not. Lots of people with sense still wear them. Though admittedly not enough.

We still wear ours in indoor places, but we have noticed that not many people do – usually elderly people wearing masks when they are the least likely to spread the virus.

If I see any dragons I shall be sure to maintain social distancing!

This one’s quite a poppet. Still, you can never be too sure. I didn’t ask if he’s had his jabs,

I would call him a heroic dragon, willing to sacrifice, for a period of time, for the good of all.

I think you’re right. His heart’s in the right place.

oh gosh, a socially responsible dragon! As a side note, wouldn’t the fire kill Covid? I think it’s sensitive to extreme heat…

True. But fire-damaged patients might not be too impressed.

Haha, yeah I may take my chances with Covid over a fire spewing dragon…

Perhaps we have a view here concerning dragons and wimps. Fire-breathing and still fine with donning a mask for the sake of others. Sadly, so many people think it’s all over. Beyond comment.

I noticed that same day that people with masks queued at a respectful distance in shops. The maskless, all too often, got up close and personal.
