… and please note the drifts of wild garlic clinging to the hillside. You’ll need them for tomorrow’s Top Tip.

A handsome wee beastie! Trying to think which property it is but I don’t recognise it and the ‘tags and like’ are very slow to load this morning. 🙂 🙂

Thanks for looking . . . .it seems to be because I tend to catch up with posts and comments in batches and so WP put in me in spam 😦 hopefully now you have rescued me twice, I won’t go there again on your blog. Fingers crossed anyway xx

You won’t recognise it. It’s on our landlord’s land. And he’s not very ‘wee’ either!

Ah, I’ll stop wracking my brains then. I was going for Beningborough 🙂 🙂

Doesn’t he look handsome, I can’t smell the garlic though. Any chance tomorrow you could waft it our way 😉

For me, the dog sits there like a guardian of nature. He makes sure that nothing bad happens to nature

What a perfect spot for the top dog to guard and survey.

What a regal looking dog. Wild garlic and a Top Tip? Intriguing. Have a wonderful day. Peace.

He looks very happy observing his domain. We don’t seem to get the ransoms here (they do in Devon) but plenty of three cornered leeks or Allium triquetrum or onion weed! I really ought to learn how to use it in the kitchen as it even grows in my garden!

He has a fine perch there. Wouldn’t be a half bad job to survey that landscape all day.

I know. Sheltered from rain, sun and wind, he has the perfect surveillance job.

What a great dog! He looks like a greyhound or a whippet.

He is indeed a whippet. The family has a particularly nice chestnut coloured one – not that the statue is of her of course.
