Reflections on Malmö Windows

Something Malmö was particularly good at was windows and their reflections of the city beyond. For my last post in this series – though there might be one or two more later, here are some shots taken of our meanderings round the city.

For Ludwig’s Monday Window, hosted this week by Brian, of Bushboy fame

And that’s me done for a while. I’ve scheduled a couple of posts, and may send the odd postcard, but for the next month I’m on Granny duty both here, and in Spain. Where it seems rather hot for comfort.

  1. I do love playing with reflections. You’re as daft as me. Margaret. We’re going up to the heatbowl that is the Alentejo (though no fires yet, cross fingers) mid August for our wedding anniversary. You have a good excuse- it’s family. Have a fabulous time xx

  2. I do like the first windows wonky reflections and the blue boat best Margaret. Very good inside looking out windows too.
    Stay safe and cool
Thanks for joining in Monday Window 😀

  3. I love window reflections, best of course in cities where there is a lot of glass. Enjoy your granny duties, I dare say you’ll need a holiday at the end of August! Hope it won’t be stupidly hot in Spain and the fires stay well away from your area. Both home and abroad.

    1. These fires, Europe – no world-wide – are terrifying, with more to come. Spain looks as though it won’t be as hot as I feared. ‘Only’ low 30s!

      1. It was low 30s when we were in London last month and that was too much for me! By the way, we visited our friends in Yorkshire last weekend but it was straight up and down, no extra days added on, so I didn’t make contact. In theory it was their turn to visit us but he has Parkinson’s and travelling is not good now. Next year will be our “proper” visit so maybe we can have a day together again then.

  4. Great reflections, I agree 🙂

Enjoy your family time and do try to stay out of the worst of the heat. Will you be back in Yorkshire by 21st August when we’re coming to Ripon for a few days? I do hope so!

      1. Till the 25th 🙂 We’ll almost certainly be meeting up with our friends in Grinton on the 23rd (yet to be finalised) but if you’re around for a drink and maybe dinner on the Saturday or Monday evenings (22nd or 24th) that would be lovely. But we’ll quite understand if not – I know what it’s like when you’re only just back home.
