Last on the Card in November

Last on the phone, actually. Taken in a little backwater in Darlington, a town not too far from us that we’d never visited. I wish I could have stepped further back in this narrow alley. Then I’d have snapped four differently-coloured doors.

For Brian’s Last on the Card.

  1. If you’d saved them you could have had Thursday Doors too. I used to go to the market at Darlington sometimes, but more often I was there for the railway connection xx

  2. Not just the colours, the style of door and even their levels are all different. I have never been to Darlington, is it worth visiting? When I was a student a flatmate used to meet her boyfriend, who was at Durham, there. A Dirty Weekend in Darlington became a sort of joke with the rest of us.

    1. Ask me again later. We only stayed the morning and then the heavens truly properly opened and we gave up before visiting Hometown, its museum of the Railway Age as much is open air. It’s an interesting town, but we didn’t give it a fair crack of the whip, so I don’t really know. Sorry you asked now?
