For Becky’s NovemberShadows –
And Debbie’s Six Word Saturday.
P.S. Despite having a post prepared, being in London discombobulated my Inner Timetable, and I neglected to publish Friday’s Footnotes in History. You’ll have to wait till next week to read about some fashionable, powerful nuns.
Trouser legs, certainly. I’m sorry to say that I didn’t miss your Friday story yesterday. It was a funny old day, but I will be on high alert next Friday. Enjoy your time with the London gang xx

I really wasn’t well yesterday and couldn’t focus much on the laptop. More or less my chirpy self today. Waiting to hear if the walk this morning is being called off. We had tons of rain yesterday and more in the forecast today and we’re walking in the salt marshes, which will be somewhat slippy xx

Poor Jo. Best stay home then? It was super-rainy in London – and Yorkshire too apparently . Europe wide then? Have at least an OK weekend.xx

Thanks, darlin! We have a super lunch planned up in the hills tomorrow and hoping it’s dry for that, but we really can’t complain. The rain is so needed. Unfortunately it tends to bring flash floods with it. Have a superb time with your lot xx

👍Thanks. Yes, we do need the rain. Between 7.00 p.m. and 7.00 a.m. would be ideal. Have a great lunch tomorrow – somehow xx

Friday! Hurricane hits the Algarve. My friend’s beautiful pear tree uprooted. We actually got off lightly here with just no reception/ internet for 5 days! And we came back to Portugal Monday for the day to recover a lost passport… Keep well and hopefully see you in 2026.

You sound to have had way to much drama for a single week. But all over now? Hope so! It woud be good to meet somehow in 26. We have two nations in common!

I love the simplicity of this! I’m away too, and probably just as discombobulated, as well as reading fewer blog posts than when at home, so I’m quite pleased you’re saving the nuns till next – it sounds like it’s going to be a very interesting tale!

All about the legs? Whose? or Zebras? Anyway, square and shadowy …. and you are forgiven the occasional discombobulation!
