Technology is still defeating me, so I’ll send you uncommented-on shots from our marvellous day in Strasbourg.

And there you have it. A header showing the cathedral. Details (old) of Strasbourg; details (new) of Strasbourg; the bikes of Strasbourg; streets of Strasbourg.
My computer and I have had enough together now. Before I throw it out of the window, I’ll press ‘publish’.
You have some nice photos, and fine views. It is a neat place.
You also gave me a little support. I thought I was the only one struggling with my computer. Maybe we can yet figure out these newfangled apps.

Ooh grrrrr, computers eh? I thought you were a real pro, Ludwig! Yes, Strasbourg is a beauty.

Computers are great, until they’re not. Enjoying Strasbourg was the priority and it does look a lovely city xx

This all looks so familiar! I’m sure we saw that stork motif, maybe on our way to the botanical gardens.

I’m sure you saw that stork! Too late for real ones. Isn’t Strasbourg great?

We really enjoyed our few days there. If you’re still in the city I’d recommend a trip to St Pierre-le-June, Protestant not Catholic. They are slowly restoring some magnificent frescos there. Picture on my blog if you’re interested.

I read your post last night, and no, we didn’t visit that particular church, sadly. Only one day in Strasbourg – this time. I’m sure we’ll be back though.

Such gorgeous images, Margaret! What is that on the façade of the cathedral? Are those the hours painted on the top? I love what you did with the bikes. It made me think of old war photos.

Yes, that cathedral shot is of the side, where there is a clock and sundial. I should have shown the magnificent façade and spire too, but … maybe later when Technology is on my side. Thanks! I quite liked the bikes in mono.

Looks like a lovely place. France has such variety, it’s like a Europe in itself.

It certainly is, especially here, at the intersection of three countries!

Considering your battles with technology you’ve done really well to show us so much of Strasbourg , a beautiful city! I loved seeing all the details in particular. I hope you get to the bottom of the issue before resorting to throwing the computer out of the window 😀
