One Bench, Four Bags, Three Brollies*

These belong to some of the dancers of 400 Roses.

A ‘brolly’ is British (and Australian?) slang for an umbrella.*

      1. It’s got hotter here in the Sierra and not so easy to go outside when really hot or do long walks. And am not now a night person when everything starts at 10 pm! But we enjoy family here in August and the village swimming pools.

    1. Yes I think so too. I use it, but then, I’m a hybrid and after more than 50 years here in Oz I still get caught out using an English word instead of Australian one, so I wasn’t sure.

  1. I missed the original post but went back to check it out. Those dancers come prepared. I knew what a prolly was, my stepmom was Scottish and schooled me with a brolly once!
