Geometry in a Sunset

I am looking for an excuse to share images of yesterday evening’s sunset, down on the beach at Premià. And I found it in the views of Barcelona, some 20 km away. Its skyline features suitably geometric buildings, so here’s my square for today.

And here are a few more – unsquared – views, so I can share them with Hammad, of Weekend Sky fame.

It’s not often that we’re down on the beach in January, as the sun is setting. We should do it more often.

  1. I thought these beautiful on my phone yesterday, and looking even more stunning today on my laptop. You found geometry, and where it is macro or in the distance I am happy if it is squared!

  2. I am grateful that you found an excuse to post this beautiful sunset, Margaret. I was experience a sunrise while you were experiencing a sunset. Somehow I felt that distance was no more.

  3. Glorious Margaret!! We were there so many years ago I remember very little except that we were the only ones eating at 8pm and the server laughed when we commented because it was so early for supper. I’d die living there LOL!! Loved your marvelous sunsets.

    1. I know what you mean about dining times. Though we have got our stomachs not used to rumbling before 2.00 p.m. for lunch, and we’re happy to eat at 8.00 in the evening. My daughter’s partner isn’t. That’s WAY too early for him!
