Those yarn bombers in Thirsk always have something new to show us. And now of course, it’s time to celebrate the Christmas season. So Happy Christmas from me too. I may or may not post next week, so I’ll get the good wishes in early.

For Debbie’s Six Word Saturday.
Exactly! Aren’t they a creative bunch? I really must tear myself away from this laptop and get the show on the road. Cheerybye and have a lovely time!

They’re fun, aren’t they? Is it a thing in France? I don’t remember ever seeing any.

Fabulous! Currently somewhere on the M5 heading for Lancaster. No yarn bombing here and no traffic jams… Yet! Merry Christmas Margaret 🎄☺️

Glorious! I came across a post box which had been yarn bombed while on a dull, damp walk. It quite cheered me up.

Oh, these are great fun! We are particularily fond of the Grinch here, and it may get a bit grinchy next week with the arrrival of children, grandchildren, and the 80 pound beast–the granddog. Thank goodness we all like long walks. Merry Christmas!

Oh goodness, you’ll need those long walks. Or perhaps a nice quiet curl up on the sofa while everyone else has a walk? Happy Christmas!

These are great fun! We really must get to Thirsk one day, we always seem to miss that area when in Yorkshire4.
Merry Christmas to you and Malcolm, and all the best for 2025 when I hope to see you again!

And a happy Christmas to you two as well. Yes, Thirsk is an attractive town. No special monuments or anything, but lots of lovely buildings, alleyways – and just outside town, the dreaded Sutton Bank!

Oh, they are a very creative lot! How jolly on a damp dreary day. But it is the shortest one so got to keep positive. Are you spending Christmas at home? Or with the London team? Whatever, Merry Christmas to you and Malcolm, and all the best for 2025. I am hoping to get up to Yorkshire this year so I had better start looking for places to book! Any advice? (I’m thinking smallish attractive market town where we can walk to restaurants in the evening and not have to drive) but somewhere central to the Dales and Moors.

Still a bit in knitting, I think. Though sailors and prisoners knit, I’m told.

No, I’ve not seen it here. I must talk to crochet folks about it. Only that one installation on the tennis courts.
