These are fun! I have a photo of the tiger one from our visit a couple of years ago and I think I remember the turtle too, but I don’t recall seeing this many – maybe they have spread since our visit 😆

I think they have. The penguis and insects were spotted well away from the usual town cenre haunts.

Clever, isn’t it? I think Shrewsbury BID had the idea in about 2021, and it’s gone on from there. Yes, the Bear is a particularly clever one.

Fantastic! Sadly we are prohibited from personalizing our mailboxes here on the island which I suppose can be a good thing depending on your neighbors 😊. And we either leave our outbound mail in our mailbox or take it to the local post office which is every bit as drab as you’d imagine. I’m living vicariously through your post this week tho margaret!

Ah Tina, these aren’t mailboxes, but telecom paraphernalia. Nevertheless some people do have jolly, or quirky, or certainly individual mailboxes.
