Out and about in Brick Lane London, with Sarah of Travel with Me fame, we spotted what seemed to be a film-in-the-making. The actors were moving forward for sure, but for the camera man, it was a different story.

For Becky’s #SquaresRenew Challenge, she’s inviting us to post square – only square – photos on the themes of Burgeoning; Moving Forward; Reconstruction; or Renewal
It looks a little confrontational from that angle but I like the cheery smiling faces.

They were having a great time. We never found out what it was all about.

Great shot! I’ve heard that walking backwards is very good for you but doing it carrying and operating a camera is not a trick I’d like to try.

Hmm, I tried it once. Its a winning combination of being both boring and tiring. I swiftly abandoned it.

You may well have captured a star in the making!

Spotter has the most important job; you can reshoot if necessary, but one stumble and you can wreck yourself, others, and equipment. Here’s to the backwards man !

Seconded! I hadn’t thought of that!

Socially, they’re moving forwards, although the videographer is moving backward. : )

You definitely need someone to hold your arm when walking backwards, though I have read that it can be good for you. Knowing my luck I’d end up on my backside!

I’ve tried backwards walking. It’s not easy. I’m not as head-over-heels as Jo, but a close second.

Clever! Both the post and the camera man. Like Jude, I’d be sure to end up on my bum.

We’d make a fine trio, Jude you and me!

There are so many stories that come to us the moment we step outside our doors. What fun they must be having together. I hear the laughter through the WIFI, Margaret. You have so much fun, don’t you!!!

They picked a scenic spot.

Well, interesting rather than scenic maybe.
