Ah … What if?

If you look at this girder in a certain light, it looks slightly orange. Maybe. But I just wanted to find an excuse to post this photo: almost the only one I took in colour on our Newcastle sortie the other day.

  1. We spent one day in Newcastle and Gateshead a few years back while visiting that area and my favourite photo on that grey rainy day was someone standing on the bridge under a large rainbow umbrella.

  10. That’s a brilliant spot and there has to be a story behind it! But you’re really pushing it to convince us the Swing Bridge is orange – it’s red and white and as far as I know has always been red and white!!

      1. I found it hilarious that there was a thunderstorm in Palma today and Lauren hadn’t packed a raincoat. She availed herself of marital rights and borrowed his, and he’s still smiling.
