  1. Haha… lovely! I haven’t seen a single Painted Lady here this year. In fact it must be about three years ago that I last saw them. Life would be sad without butterflies.

  2. Beautiful pictures. This year wasn’t all too good for butterflies up here in Scotland. Some varieties seem to have thrived, but I can name at least three usually common types of butterfly that I didn’t see at all.

  3. We are celebrating Thanksgiving Day in Canada today. So many thanks for this lovely post. I am reminded of the quote by Robert A Heinlein: “Butterflies are self propelled flowers.” I may have missed some of your posts recently, due to travel, but will be catching up soon.
