An Odd Glove

Found; on the way from West Tanfield, one odd glove. Strangely, it isn’t mine. I regularly lose gloves – always the right hand one. My record stands at eleven in a single season. Perhaps I should have walked off with this one?

  1. Odd indeed to see in the rural wilderness though quite a frequent sight on urban pavements. How about trying high-vis neon gloves, should catch your eye as it drops to the ground.

  2. I misplaced a glove at Walmart once. They keep a big box of Lost/Found items at the service desk. You could try there. You might find the right one even if it doesn’t match. 🙂

    1. I’ve a sort of feeling it mightn’t make economic sense to cross the Atlantic Ocean just to source a free glove! Nice idea though. I could always combine a holiday too.

  3. I try so hard not to lose gloves. I only have 2 pair, and only 2 because I thought I lost the other pair when I bought the new pair…then I found the other pair and I feel very rich – glove wise anyway.

  4. I lost my keys on Monday! Fortunately they were returned to me yesterday. My husband had a dental appointment opposite the restaurant we were in on Monday and I asked him to pop in on the off chance they were there, having looked everywhere else I could think of. Mick messaged to say they hadn’t got them and I went on with my chores, till I was interrupted by a phone call. The lady cook had looked herself and found them! It’s called the Secret Garden. A good hiding place, it seems. I remembered upending my purse to add to the tip. I’m known for not carrying my purse when we go out. Makes perfect sense to me. Look what happens when I try to contribute….
