Oooh-er, that’s an odd house.

Here’s why. It belongs to friends of ours, and I was looking at it as I was enjoying a glass of wine in their garden.

Oh Dear, Margaret… hope you got back to your house ok!!
I think it’s the weather that is odd too, if this was taken this January / February – works unseasonably mild ( must have been, if you were happily quaffing wine in the garden!) 🌻

Emma, it’s ridiculously mild today – 10 degrees at 7.00 a.m. But this image was taken in the summer. We’re not THAT hardy! Yes, we staggered back round the corner in one piece.

Was that you or the wine talking?

Ha! You might have started something now. A squiffy contest!

Hic! In my defence, I can’t have been squiffy. It’s in focus, that shot.

Yes, but you are standing on your head for one shot!

That must be true Peter, and the inebriated can’t do that.

Cool capture….but not in February??

If you didn’t see the second two pics you could think the photo was an odd house over a wall on a snowy day. Yes, we have climate-scary warm weather down here in Suffolk too.

I see what you mean. We’re doing winter gloom today, by the way.

I hope you weren’t battered by those recent windy storms.

Not too bad thanks. I hope you were all safely tucked up too.

I was, thank you and there was no massive eucalyptus to worry about now either.

Haha, very clever! I like taking photos of reflections (refractions?) in wine glasses but I never thought to crop them tight like this 😀

Brilliant capture, Margaret 👏 It’s like having an alcohol dispensing lensball 😂

Thanks Amy. It’s been fun looking for oddities.

You are so talented Margaret that you control gravity. You can turn your wine upside down and it stays in its glass 😀 😀

Cee, it’s a skill I need every day! 😉

Clever! And even cleverer is that you turned the glass upside down and the wine didn’t pour out! Most odd 😂

Odd indeed. But a skill we all should learn 😉

Margaret – you have the best way of looking at life. I never thought of looking at a house through a wine glass. I love seeing your world through your lens.
