Very clever! I imagine the parakeets must be very noisy (compared to the starlings) – they have such an intrusive squawk I feel, rather than the twittering sounds of our native birds. We have lots of them near us.

They tend to get together in the fields here, the crows claim the roofs, the starlings the trees and the sparrows the hedges. Each to his own 😂
