Well, you were game for a bit of a bet yesterday, and both sunrise and sunset got pretty much equal scores. Shall we go for a walk and see who’s right? Click on any image to see it full size and to get rid of the caption.
Leave the house …. … go through some woods …. …. along a track … … and out into flooded pastureland … The lake here has burst its banks, and the birds have flown. Beatswell Woods. Nearly home now.
I took my puzzle picture, now shown in a different format as my feature photo, shortly after I’d left the lake. But this wasn’t overlooking another lake. It was yet another flooded field. Time? One minute past four. Sunset: the first moments. So I was up to no good, offering you sun down instead of sun up on a challenge featuring All Things Up,

Loved the picturesque walk, so much water around, but doesn’t it make for beautiful reflections.
I like how the images have their commentary and then clicking on one you can scroll through, sophisticated use of technology! Impressive.

WordPress doesn’t get everything right, but this seems to work- so long as the explanation’s there.

What is the tool you used to create it?

Are you using the Block system yet? It’s the Gallery block. I was deeply resistant to changing over, but in fact it was easy. And by the way, I’ve now added a video to my post.

I’ve used it a couple of times, I shall check out the gallery block.

I think my head’s spinning with the explanation, but I love the featured photo. 🙂 🙂 Thanks so much. Margaret!

That’s fun! A bit like Wikilocs, though I’ve never used that myself, just observed others. It adds an extra dimension, doesn’t it? I had thought of something like that for my walks but I’m too lazy and too obsessive about the photos 🙂 🙂

You actually don’t need to do photos for it and I often don’t. Just put it on at the beginning and turn it off at the end. It’s helping me keep my tally for my 500 mile challenge. Nearly at 100 this year now.

I was sure it was sunrise. However my only real experience of it is on the way to Dover to catch a boat. We have snowdrops!

Thanks for letting me be right for once! I see a lots of sunsets at this time of the year when I am sitting in my chair musing about the possibility of the pandemic ever being over.

I think yours was the first answer too. Yes, musing is something we all do – but it’s not getting us anywhere, is it?

The trick is to remember to do it at the start, not after the first mile or two. She said, with feeling 😉
