As ever wonderful and evocative photos. I’ve not been to India but I’ve experienced it in Malaysia to a lesser extent. Even though I was raised in an English city with a lot of South Asian influences it was the colour and loudness which surprised me – I loved it!
Yes, I loved it too – for a time. There’s no doubt that the noise eventually got to me, especially at night. Rural India though. That was a different, wonderful story.
