Whatever it is, I imagine it’s a grand one. That looks like a classy part of town.

Not so much classy as old-established. It’s now mainly flats (no doubt expensive) and offices, with shops below.

I think images like this are so fascinating Margaret, you did a great job seeing it and then photographing it. I think they are really good in monochrome too.

Thanks Leanne. Even in so-called colour it was fairly mono too, so this conversion worked easily.
