We are so lucky in summer – less so in winter. Even on days like this, we sometimes have to wear cardigans etc. in the house, as our thick stone walls keep the temperature down. We even still have a normal weight duvet on the bed.

There are too many animals who love nasturtiums for me to have any here. Even there devil may care attitude to where they exist doesn’t matter
