Two Benches: One at Home, One Abroad

I am going to give up any pretence of regular blogging for a while. Maybe a scheduled post or so, maybe the odd Virtual Postcard. Daughter-in-Spain never asks for help, but for most of this week and next, she needs some. So I’m off to Catalonia. I’ll leave you with two benches. One 5 minutes walk away in our local Beatswell Woods: the other just down on the beach near Daughter’s house. Very different. But both have their charms.

Premià de Mar

For Jude’s Bench Challenge. And I think I know which one Jude will go for.

  1. My math ain’t what it used to be but I counted three. 🙂 Both spots offer great ambiance for contemplation and the opportunity to take a load off for the weary walker. Although there’ll be chores to do enjoy your time by the beach.

    1. I don’t think it’s an easy choice! Which one did you choose? Sadly yes. I had pledged never to fly again, but I couldn’t find a realistic alternative. xx

  2. Hahaha… you know me well. I’d happily perch on one of the benches by the sea, but on the other hand a bench with a backrest is more than welcome along a walk. Hope the crisis in Spain isn’t too much of a crisis and I am sure you will enjoy helping out, think of all those hugs! Safe journey.
