      1. It’s a 2005 installation by Peter Burke. This ‘Assembly’ is of 14 cast iron figures who symbolise the town’s industrial past, specifically in munitions making. I found they made quite a statement, and though I was at that point unaware of their significance, I liked their earthy, utilitarian feel, set among the elegance of Woolwich’s naval architectural heritage.
