Team London and I visited Bradford on Friday to spend time in its Science and Media Museum. And here we found Feathers McGraw, anti-hero star of The Wrong Trousers and Murder Most Fowl. Surely he should still be locked up at His Majesty’s Pleasure, instead of gazing out of the windows of the museum?

For Ludwigs’s Monday Window, hosted today by PR.

Perhaps he’s planning something…

I hope you reported the sighting of Feathers McGraw to the local constabulary or Scotland Yard

I wonder if I should have done? He was hiding in plain sight.

A revamped Photography Museum? I took my children there back in the 80s. They loved the magic carpet. Science museums are great places to visit with youngster.

Oh, my childrenl loved the Magic Carpet too … and reading the news. Tom (newsreading obviously led him directly into a career in politics) and I were quite grumpy about the re-vamp. We didn’t really like it, and although there were fun things to do, we didn’t think they necessarily learnt much. Best of all was a workshop where they learnt how to do stop-motion animation and produced very short videos. But really, we both felt short-changed. But the grandchildren said they’d had a great day! Tom’s obviously learnt how to be a Grumpy Old Man before his 50th birthday.

I note the clever disguise (with the help of a glove) as I have just found out he is a Penguin as I had to look him up! I recall seeing Wallace and Gromit a few times on TV when I was in the UK a long time ago, I don’t recall Feathers McGraw. He looks like a lot of fun.

Fun? He’s deviousness personified (penguinified?), but yes, we all have fun at his expense!
