A fortnight ago, I took you to Harrogate’s Valley Gardens to view a few benches. This week, I found myself there again, sharing its delights with a friend from London. One of the benches I featured last time was vacant when we passed it, so I had a bit of fun with the shadows playing over the area.

For Jude’s Bench Challenge.
Oh I love the play with light and shadow. Excellent picture, Margaret.

Definitely. Immediately before opening your post, I’d been marvelling at the intricate puzzles of Thomas Pavitte, where seemingly innocuous lines create remarkable pictures. Your shots had me gazing intently to find the cunningly hidden portrait within! I’m sure there’s something in there somewhere 😉

A great capture of the play of light and shade, particularly effective in B&W 🙂

I love that Margaret! There is just so much to the image, the shadows are wonderful, the sense of space and the feeling of it being a world unto its own. Well done!!
