Monday Window at the Car Wash

After a weekend of Storm Darragh, our car needs a litte TLC. On the way into town this morning, we’ll have a session at the car wash, and enjoy the view through the window as the suds and brushes do their work.

For PR’s Monday Window.

  1. we had the same experience last week. Our parking space in the communal carpark (which we pay for dearly every month) is so narrow that we regularly ‘clean’ the ‘poton’ AND the car when we squeeze through to enter our vehicle, so last week when our old trusted auto was shiny for a few hours I felt like a queen – ONCE no control was needed if our coats were dirty…

    1. In truth it wasn’t the storm that made the car dirty. We were in London and they had it very much harder back at home. Lashing up and down the motorway was the cause of all the dirt. Plus its being so very long since it was last washed …

  2. Same here, Jude! My windows are now filthy having been cleaned just last week. A good while to wait until the window cleaner returns. Being an upside-down house, it’s not easy to access the key windows. It’s a very murky view every day for a while now!

  3. Dear Margaret
What a great idea 👍 👍 We love your pictures. Although we bring our car every fortnight to the car wash we never got this idea.
Thanks for sharing and keep well
