… comes from the Museu Blau – the Museu de Ciènces Naturals de Barcelona. It’s not on the tourist trail, so it was blissfully empty. I took lots of photos with my camera, but I can’t download them till I get back to England, so here is the last from my phone: a selection of shells.

For Brian’s Last on the Card.
What a brilliant way to display shells! So many different shapes.

It was a pretty lovely display. To make up for the fact that it’s too much of a stretch to do Six Degrees this month.

I love empty museums! You can take photos without stray heads getting in the way.

They are great! I should go and get a needle and thread at once. But I’ll probably break my shells 😢🐚🩵

How many times a year are you in Barcelona? Are you often there in December?

There’s no rhythm to our visits. I’m certainly going to be there more often while I still have the energy to help . December? Who knows? Are you planning on a visit?

I was asking to start to plan a trip. US vacation time is notoriously short, but I’ll start the conversation with my husband about December.

For us, a lot will depend on whether Emily & Co decide to come to England for Christmas. They often like to.

I can imagine that would be fun for them and you!

I love the shells too, Margaret, but mostly I’m delighted to hear someone else still uses a ‘real’ camera 😉

I’m not clever with my ‘real’ camera, which tends to stay on the automatic setting. But yes, I still prefer it for expeditions!
