Their cheerful faces and golden colours never cease to amaze and delight me. Lovely memories of our friends‘ garden (rather a parkl!) in Exeter – whenever we drove up to their house, they were nodding along. I can‘t get over them and have some planted at my place. And always early friends announcing that spring is REALLY coming.
It wouldn’t be spring without the daffodils. They do look lovely en masse. Here there are some growing in the verges, but as I am carless still I haven’t driven down there this year.
Well. that’s nice to know. And don’t they look bonnie!
We, on the other hand, are battling Sahara sand, which is all very well in the desert, but not so great on your patio. C’est la vie!

Oh, I remember that from France. Not fun, is it? Though then at least it didn’t tend to last that long. Happy weekend anyway, Jo.

It’s normally just a day but… climate change and all that! Going up in the hills walking anyway.

I don’t, very dry during summer here where I stay and it’s sandy soil.

Such a cheering sight! We’ve been admiring magnolias here but today’s wind is going to put paid to that. Wisterias are in bud, though.

Oh, silly magnolias! They open too early every single year. Here too. But wisterias here are sensibly still tucked up in bed.

I think the daffodils must be right. Spring MAY be round the corner.

You have daffodils a-plenty to keep you going, but I do hope the car issue is solved soon.
