In a past Monday Window, I showcased this winter sunrise, as spotted reflected on one of our windows. It’s too pretty not to share with Past Squares even though squaring it has made it small – but almost perfectly formed.

Window Mark Two for Becky’s Past Squares

Well, that was certainly a sight to see! Agreed, squaring has diminished it, but still worth seeing!

Well, I thought we needed a good sunrise to start the day.

I think the day didn’t quite deliver in the end. Y’know. England.

That snow gave me a nasty turn, but still…pretty as a picture!

No snow today. Lots of rain though.

Jiminy Cricket! National Holiday here. Shan’t mention the weather. Not sure if you’d get email for my walk yesterday as WP seemed to be playing trick or treat again. No worries!

I have got it Jo. I was leaving it until I had an indulgent moment to read it in. Too good to rush. I’ll get there.

No rush, sweetheart. I seem to have difficulty reaching some folk. I keep stalking Mari but she hasn’t found her way here. My new role in life. Jo Stalker! Smiling…

what a gorgeous sunrise, we’ve not had a good one for days this end of the country – so glad you included the original as well as the square

Yes, as a square it frankly doesn’t cut the mustard. But it was an excuse to show the original, so I took it.

Excellent excuse I’d say 🙂

Ah yes, a beautiful start to the day. For a moment there, I thought you were going to use the ‘snow’ word!

I rather like the square version – it gives it an abstract look with all the surrounding brickwork etc removed 🙂

I guess. The uncropped shot brings memories with it for me though.

Lovely sunrise! I assume the snow picture is not from this year?! Even yesterday, it still felt like summer here in London.

No indeed. That’s last January. But suddenly, autumn really has arrived.

I think we’ve discussed squares before, so often less forgiving than a rectangle. Squares so awkward that even Instagram had to permit rectangles! Beautiful capture of those warm hues of a winter sunrise rectangle or square.

But rectangle’s better, non? Here anyway.
