All that snow we’ve been having. It’s so pretty, but I bet those poor sheep were fed up. Look at that featured photo. Not much evidence of grass there. So when I passed a neighbouring farm while out with Virtual Dog on Sunday, I wasn’t too surprised to find any number of sheep gathered round the serving hatch. Nobody needed to encourage them to eat up.

Poor things, they are so cold they are turning blue!

Blue-bum and red-bum are common complaints round here 😉

I think they give supplementary feed through the winter while the grass is short. It’s often mangelwurzels though.

Ah, I like raw beetroot too. Raw most things actually – no, maybe not potatoes.

Ooh no, not potatoes. They can be dangerous raw!

That’s OK. Not tempted.

Sheep on snow makes for a lovely picture. Wish our cold bright days would return.

Yes. Not anytime soon, apparently.

They all look very interested in the food on offer and not at all fussed about your virtual dog.😁

Lovely snowy view and happy sheep, Margaret. I’ve got my eye on some black sheep that Id like to get a photo of if we ever get any snow!

I can arrange the snow – it’s been snowing here since the small hours. A black sheep might be a little trickier.

I love that top photo. I wish we had some snow here to make things look lovely – just more rain today.

Snow is about 4 inches deep here now. But it won’t last – rain later.

That’s a decent amount I know it’s a nuisance on the roads, but if some could just fall in our garden I’d be happy. 🙂

I guess the hungry sheep aren’t feeling as picturesque as the look in that top image …

Definitely not. Though sheep are quite stoical I think.
