Just a gloriously empty beach, which that tractor doesn’t seem to need to clean up at all. I wonder if it stayed that way?

I love that first one! I was totally smitten by Bridlington’s beach; this one looks even better. One day, I’ll get to visit my son in Brid again and he has promised to take me to Filey. Out of season I think…

Luckily yes. Team Bolton already, then Team London are coming this weekend for a week, though staying in a cottage to keep us safer. So that’s all good.

All my memories of the north sea coast are that it is usually cold! Never been to Filey. Scarborough and Bridlington were the haunts of my early childhood and even in my teens. Whitby is nicer IMO.

Was told I would be fabulous when I grew up by a Bridlington B&B owner, and spent my 21st in a Scarborough B&B!!

I like Whitby too, but it’s awfully crowded these days. I barely know the other three.

Isn’t every decent seaside town? My last visit was in the month of November and it was pretty quiet then! (Blowing a hooley though and snowing on the moors)

I like the Northumberland coast. Bit chilly there in winter though. We had considered it. 😊

What a great flat beach! I imagine though that the water is a bit chilly for swimming though even in the summer?

That’s interesting you’d think that the golden hour look would be top choice, but the tones of the main picture steal it. It seems we appreciate pale blue skies with twinkle.
