Perspective in a Temple

We visited a dozen or more Buddhist temples when we were in South Korea a few years ago.  And every one had long lines of lanterns, stretching the length of a room or a verandah, hung with lanterns that were in their turn hung with prayer intentions.  A new perspective on mindfulness.

      1. I understand, unless there is somewhere you can break the journey half way? We do long haul flights of 23 hours from here! Would it be about 11 hours to Korea for you?

      2. Yes, but as my husband is now 80, we think the moment has passed. There’s plenty of Europe still to explore, and that will enable us to eliminate flying completely. Yup, 10 – 11 hours I seem to remember.
