… and Happy Easter, or whatever hard-boiled pirates and cabin boys say to each other on Easter morning.
Since we can’t see William and Zoë today, we’ve given their decorated eggs to the little boys next door. They’re going to the top of a hill later, to roll the eggs down, in time-honoured Easter fashion.
Bless you, Margaret- just what I needed! Happy Easter 🙂 🙂

And to you too. I know how lucky we are, but today’s seeming hard without at least some of the wider family being here.

Oh, how cute are they! Brightened up my solo morning! But I shall cheer myself up with a nice lunch accompanied by some good wine and a video conference or two later!

Oh, that’ll be the nice bottle you failed to open the other week? Cheers!

I shall….and the friend who appreciates wine as I do will be drinking the other half of the bottle (I decanted my half earlier, and left the bottle outside my door) and we shall toast each other on zoom!!

They were amazingly pleased with them. I thought the modern child might be too sophisticated.

You are a treasure.
We listened and viewed an Easter service from our (New Apostolic Church) leader on YouTube live and we feel simply elated and thankful.
Now I shall proceed to provide HH with a (not especially) Eastery meal….
🐰HAPPY EASTER to you and yours 🐇

And to you and your family too. I also am not providing an Eastery meal. But there will be Simnel cak!

awww what a lovely thing to do, and hopefully it won’t be too long (if our Government gets its act together) before you will be able to go to the top of the hill too

Oh, I’ve already been to the top – and bottom – of the hill this morning. Gotta do my Daily Exercise.

I love the eggs. They are so much fun. It’s a nice solution that the neighbor boys can enjoy them.

It is. Especially as William enjoys playing with them when he comes to stay.

The holiday weekend accentuates the remoteness of family in these times. The characterful eggs are delightful and sharing with the neighbour’s children is a lovely thing to have done. Best Easter Sunday greetings and wishes to you Margaret.

And to you! It’s a funny old Easter though, isn’t it?

It truly is a strange Easter.
With most people observing the lockdown here in SA there have been few vehicle accidents this Easter weekend. In former times there was carnage our roads over the long Easter weekend …

Got here eventually! And what a lovely surprise. It’s been a long time since I decorated eggs and none as grand as these. How lovely to give them to your neighbour’s boys.

I thought their parents would prefer they didn’t get yet more chocolate!
