When we pop over to Bolton to do an overnight babysit for Ellie (er, not babysitting. Thirteen year old twins require a taxi-service rather than child-minding), dog walking is part of the deal. Here’s Sunday’s walk….

He doesn’t sit still long enough for many good photos!

Yes, we need another word for babysitting when the kids are big 🙂
PS. Your post didn’t appear in my reader again, Margaret. Strange.

That is odd, Tracy. I don’t use the reader much, I find it very un-user friendly, as I don’t have time to wade through the posts which they’ve drawn my attention to while looking for the ones I’ve actually asked to see, so I can’t compare your experience with mine. Come on. You’re good with words. ‘Babysitting the growing generation’. What can you come up with?

He does seem to be a loveable character although high energy levels can be exhausting for the hangers on!

On the whole, he doesn’t do tired. But he is the nicest natured creature ever. He wouldn’t know how to snarl.

P.S. I noticed that there was no area for comments on your last blog, My battered Old Notebook. Any thoughts.

Thanks for telling me. I was puzzled. I’ll try to see what’s happened. Nothing that I did!
