I’ve shown these photos before. I’ve even shown them in a previous WordPress Photo Challenge. But I’ll never forget this February sunset from a few years ago in Laroque d’Olmes. ‘Dramatic’ doesn’t seem an overstatement here.
This is my contribution to this week’s WordPress Photo Challenge inviting shots of a sunrise or sunset. Click on any image to view full size.
Most certainly worth re-showing, thank you.

Well, it cheers up a gruesome Easter Saturday anyway.

Lovely photos. I love watching the sun rise or set – I will never tire of being a witness to the beginning of a new day or watching the day come to an official close and reflecting on what transpired that day. Each rise and set is just a little different and they fill me with a sense of wonder and curiosity. Have a wonderful Easter.

You too. And many more happy sunrises and sunsets. Way too rainy and cold here. Brrrr!

And you too. No dramatic sunrises and sunsets for our Easter. Too wet, too cold, too cloudy 😦

So, so amazing! You never know what you’re going to see at sunset! The trees really add to the drama. And what’s that thing that looks like a cross–a crane? The cross makes it an Easter theme!

It;’s a cross alright. Those stark trees and the cross are in the churchyard at the top of the hill. A dramatic addition, no?

We did thanks. But no thanks to the weather, which is execrable.

I remember these photographs and they still look stunning. It would be nice to see the sun, mind you it was 17 degrees today and Friday we’re promised cloudless skies and 20 degrees. Fingers crossed.

*blocks ears*. Not listening. It’s been 3 degrees here throughout Easter and today has seen incessant rain. Just vile.

Awesome! (As my daughter would say!) This is a first viewing for me and I am very impressed! We have had quite vile weather this Easter too!

Thank you. We have had Team London, including 2 year old William here. Fresh air and fun has been in short supply.
